Between the 13 January and 24 January, Holloway Park hosted its 4th Green Skills Retrofit programme at our Green Skills Hub. After two weeks of studying on site, learners are encouraged to do a third week afterwards at college to attain their CSCS card.
A total of 18 local residents attended the course, with all 18 of them due to receive Level 2 Understanding Domestic Retrofit certificates after successful completion. This spectacular completion rate can be attributed to our partnership with Islington Council, who were instrumental in promoting career pathways related to retrofit alongside other practical course benefits.
The programme was supported by Allison Glover from Islington Council and Cecile Bouchet from Peabody. It includes industry-focused curriculum vitae writing support sessions and more general energy consumption advice, illuminating the holistic nature of the education we are able to provide through such programmes.
