We’re thrilled to share the success story of Aisha, our newest apprentice. After reaching out last year to explore opportunities for women in construction, Aisha swiftly earned her CSCS card, leading to an interview with Trident, the electrical subcontractor at Holloway Park responsible for all temporary lighting.
Aisha was successful in her application and began work on site in December, with plans to attend college one day a week starting in January.
Aisha shared, “The prospects are good for the future as I become more skilled over the four-year apprenticeship and am enjoying having goals to achieve at work. My mum is excited for me that I have gone back to follow my early dreams of a career as an electrician.”
