Peabody has submitted a non-material amendment (NMA) to Islington Council. This amendment is a technical step that does not introduce any new designs or physical changes to the development. There will be no change to the number of extra care homes or any aspect of the development currently under construction. Instead, this approach enables us to submit a Section 73 application later this year for the next phase of development, which has not yet commenced.
That future application will include updated plans and a full set of technical assessments, just like the original application submitted in 2021. All documents will be publicly available, and there will be a formal 30-day statutory consultation period during which residents and other stakeholders can share their feedback.

The Section 73 application will also be eligible to be heard and determined at planning committee.
The previous consultation material can be found here and when we have more information on our proposed plans for phases 2 and 3 we will share them on our website.
