At Holloway Park we are excited to announce that we are working on a project with Kew Gardens who are advising us on the planting for the new park and other green spaces in the new development. They have been looking at the choice of trees, shrubs and rain gardens amongst other aspects of planning for nature to thrive within Holloway Park.
Kew Gardens have said about this project;
‘We are excited for the unique opportunity to work with Peabody on the Holloway Park development. Collaborating on the planting scheme and natural garden will provide a beautiful and biodiverse environment which can be enjoyed by wildlife and residents for years to come. It’s crucial we enhance our urban green spaces, and we hope this project will inspire others to plant for nature and for people’.
Dr Janine Griffiths-Lee, RBG Kew.
Look out for further updates about what we have planned for the green spaces.
