In November students came to Holloway Park for a visit to learn about the project.

The students had a site tour, went up to the 12th floor of the phase one homes to learn about how construction projects get to this stage. There were presentations on sustainability and on design from the landscape architects. The students then gave us their thoughts and ideas about the project particularly for the nature garden and green spaces to come.

The students included young people who have already taken a special interest in sustainablity and community and horticulture. Their ideas were very welcome and they had plenty of thoughts and questions for the team. Pictured here are the students putting their thoughts to paper.

Their teacher Mr Deane said ‘ It is a great opportunity for the students to come to site and hear presentations from professionals doing different roles within the project. They don’t often get the chance to do anything like this’.
