The Green Skills Hub at Holloway Park was recognised at the Social Value Leadership Group Supply Chain Awards, where it was shortlisted for Best Innovation and named Rising Star for its bold and inclusive approach to delivering community benefit.
The award celebrates the collaborative partnership between Peabody, London Square, and Islington Council, who have worked together to activate the Hub since early 2024. The Green Skills Hub supports local people through green skills training, employment support, and free space for community organisations while the development is under construction.
Since opening in March 2024, the Hub has supported over 100 people with employment advice, delivered 140+ qualifications, and provided free space to four local organisations. We’re proud of this recognition and look forward to continuing this partnership to deliver lasting social value in Islington.
