Works on site throughout 2023 focused on demolishing old building and preparing land for the construction of new buildings and park spaces. This preparation involved breaking down and reusing or recycling demolition materials, levelling the land, installing new services like telecommunications and water pipes, and establishing stable new foundations for the building to sit on top of.
With demolition works now complete, work on site in early 2024 is focussing on preparing land and infrastructure for future development. We’re remediating soil and levelling the ground; and installing piles which will provide the foundations for new buildings in future.
The site is progressing steadily with Blocks D2 and D3 frameworks complete, and D1 soon to follow. Block E1 is at Level 6, while E2 is finished. Blocks C1 and C2 have reached Levels 10 and 9, respectively. Services and sprinkler systems are being installed, three silos are in place for the bricklayers, and groundwork for Phase One is nearly complete.
